[OOC – Location The Fortress of Solitude]
Diana landed as quietly as a panther in stealth mode. Not that it would have mattered, with the blizzard like conditions that surrounded her friend’s secret hideaway she could have landed like a drunk hippo and no one would have heard a thing. All that said, she still halfway suspected she had tripped a myriad of security alarms being so close to the Fortress. Between its secret and very remote location and its unearthly technical protections, there had only ever been a handful of people, other than Clark and a few of his personal friends, who made it even halfway this close and yet, for some reason, she had not met any resistance or seemingly set off any safety measures.
The blizzard like conditions made it hard to take in much of the Fortress but from memory she new where the main entrance was and headed in that direction. As she did, she made a mental note to wear warmer clothes next time. She was born and raised in a Mediterranean climate so yeah, snow and ice falling from the sky with force of a hurricane was not her ideal locale to spend the day.
Still, she needed to check on Clark. He had gone off radar for longer than usual and she had become a bit concerned by his long absence. Add that to the fact that Bruce was also no where to be found, and one could not help but be suspicious that something nefarious was going on. Two high ranking members of the justice league just gone missing without a word was never a good thing.
Once at the door there was no one to greet her which meant no one was aware she was there yet. Which in itself was odd. She glanced down it the spare key Clark kept close to the door and was tempted to try to use it then decided against it. Even if she could pick it up, she might drop it and hurt herself or even worse. So, she just knocked on the door politely. Nothing. Mumbling to herself, “Well, I guess I need to make some noise.” With that she slammed her fist on the door three times so hard the resulting vibrations blew loose snow and ice in the air for at least fifty metres around her. Still nothing. “Hmm… Maybe I should leave a note?”
Diana waited around for another twenty minutes and it was clear that either no one was home or, if they were, they weren’t in the mood for company.
Normally Diana avoided the HoJ but she needed access to something in her locker she kept there and she really didn’t want to make a trip to the Watch Tower if she didn’t have too. She did her best to avoid small talk with some of the other superheroes who were there on their own business but being Wonder Woman it was hard to go from point A to B without attracting attention even from her own associates. Eventually she was able to get to her personal office.
Once inside she locked the door behind her. She needed some privacy. No need to cause concern if there wasn’t actually a problem after all.
After a quick retina scan and voice verification, the door popped open to her personal locker built into the foundation of the building itself. She rummaged around on the top shelf until she found what she was looking for. “There you are.”
Leaning on her desk, Diana studied the highly advanced communications device Kara had given her a while back. She flipped open the device and pressed the activation button and hoped the thing still worked. It had been years since she stored it away.
Relieved when it powered up, Diana smiled. Finally something going as it should. Within seconds a holographic screen displayed in the air level to her face but she was not met with Kara’s face. Instead, it was a generic Kryptonian android figurehead. Before Diana could speak to the computerised figure it announced, “Kara is not available currently please leave a message.”
Diana sighed, so much for things going right, “Hello Kara this is Diana. I need to talk to you as soon as possible. We might have an issue here and I need your help.” She carefully closed the device. The ball was now in Kara’s corner and Diana needed to give her some time to reply.
She then placed the glorified mobile phone in her belt and exited the office. Once in the main room she glanced around and asked, “Anyone want to grab a pizza?” Diana immediately regretted asking as at least ten people nearly tripped over themselves trying to reach her first. Sigh...

She contemplated her next move carefully. She didn’t want to cause any type of civilian concern so she couldn’t go public with her concerns. Then it hit her, perhaps if she couldn’t find one Kryptonian she could find another.
